10th Bucklebury Beerfest
Saturday 6th Oct 2018 (12:00 – 6pm)
Bucklebury Village Recreation Ground
A fun day out for all the family, the Bucklebury Beerfest boasts a great selection of regional beers and ciders, as well as fabulous local food cooked on the BBQ. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of trade stalls, a traditional tea tent, and plenty of children’s entertainment, all accompanied by live music.
Once again, this year’s Beerfest will also include the Bucklebury Fun Dog Show, so don’t forget to bring along your canine companion(s) to win some fantastic prizes.
Now in its tenth year, the Bucklebury Beerfest is a major fundraising event for the Victory Room – a 90 year-old community hall serving the Parish. As soon as sufficient funds can be raised, a new Victory Room will be built on the existing site, and a large proportion of the money raised from this year’s Beerfest will go towards the construction of the building.
The venue offers plenty of on-site parking. For directions, please enter the postcode RG7 6PR into your navigation system.
The trustees of the Bucklebury Community Bus have generously offered to run a free service (donations will be gratefully received) from the bus stop in Upper Bucklebury to the Victory Room. The bus will run from 12 until 2pm every 15 minutes or so from Upper Bucklebury to the Victory Room and from 5 until 6.45pm for the return journey.
